In October, Samsung was spotted developing a 5G version of its flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6. The device, codenamed SM-T866N, has since been certified by the Bluetooth Alliance and approved by South Korea’s telecommunications regulator. Now, the company has confirmed on its official promotionpage that the Galaxy Tab S6 5G version is coming. Given that it uses the same rendering as the LTE version, it is expected that the rest of the specifications will be essentially the same.

During the holiday season, Samsung Korea launched a new promotion that lists discounts and giveaways for a number of products, as well as the Galaxy Tab S6 5G tablet, which is listed as coming soon.
Exactly when the Galaxy Tab S6 5G tablet will go on sale, but with the proximity of the CeS 2020, we’re guessing it will be available on January 7 with the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and galaxy S10 Lite.
It remains to be seen whether Samsung intends to launch the Galaxy Tab S6 5G tablet outside of South Korea.
