Recently, Huawei opened HMS (Huawei Mobile Service, including phone, text message, mail and a series of mobile phone basic APP OfHuawei mobile services) mass testing, this mass test mission released two applications to be tested, one is Huawei Mobile services, the other is HMS Test Core.
Test users have posted clues that in addition to Mate 30, nova 6, Glory V30 and other “physical list” ban affected by the inability to pre-install GMS phones, other earlier models of Huawei phones can also successfully deploy HMS services, and even, HMS and Google GMS can coexist within the system.
HmS Core Test is a small app market model for app installation and download of six HMS basic services, including Game, Fido and Safety, Purchase, Identity, Scan, Nearby, ML and more.
Huawei has launched its own eco-service HMS as a result of Google’s GMS service’s continued closure to China, according to published by Huawei, and as of August 2019, HMS Eco-growth was rapid, with more than 1.01 million registered developers worldwide and more than 450,000 applications connected to HMS Core.
At the same time, HMS’s accumulated ecological resources will undoubtedly nourish HarmonyOS, which means that if HMS can be popularized as soon as possible, it will accelerate the incubation of HarmonyOS, complement each other.
There are reports that Huawei is also pushing the HMS ecosystem in overseas markets such as India.
