Sony launches CFexpress B memory card new during Christmas holiday: Reading speed 1700MB/s

The long-awaited Sony CFexpress B TOUGH memory card will go on sale over the Christmas holidays. Interested consumers can keep an eye out for updates from online retailers. Take the U.S. market, for example, the Snr CFexpress B TOUGH memory card listed on December 25, 2019. Adorama also lists pages related to the upcoming Sony CFexpress memory card.

Park Cameras in the UK has now listed a new page for Sony’s CFexpress memory card. In February, Sony announced a development of the CFexpress Type B memory card with a nominal read speed of 1700 MB/s and a write speed of 1480 MB/s.

Unfortunately, cFexpress Type B TOUGH memory cards with only 128GB of capacity are currently available, but subsequent Sony releases 256GB and 512GB.

At the same time, the Sony MRW-G1 CFexpress reader is also about to be released. In addition to being compatible with CFexpress Type B memory cards, it also supports a variety of other formats, such as Sony’s own G and M XQD series memory cards.
