Composer Allee Willis has died at the age of 72, according tomedia. Her partner Prudence Fenton wrote on the social networking site: “From November 10, 1947 to December 24, 2019, willisy is known for his theme song “Friends”, the Song of the Earth Fire Band, September and Buggy Wonderland. She also co-wrote the Broadway musical “Purple.”
She was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, according to the songwriter’s website. Willis has been nominated for two Grammy Awards and an Emmy. Reported that the cause of death is cardiac arrest.
