According tomedia reports, many people, especially women, have very specific beauty methods, they will persist for months, years or even decades. However, some beauty products are not safe, and a new report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveals such a beauty event that can have serious consequences and even be life-threatening. A 47-year-old Sacramento woman was forced into a hospital because of the cream she used, it has been revealed.
The CDC said the woman felt weak in her limbs and uncomfortable in her arms and legs this summer, so she went to see a doctor. At first, the medical staff treated her on an outpatient basis, but her condition worsened. Subsequent blood and urine tests showed that her body was above normal. After she was admitted to the hospital, health officials began investigating the source of her mercury poisoning. Eventually, they found that it came from the creams they used frequently.
And unfortunately, the CDC notes that although the woman received lengthy treatment, she was unable to express herself and take care of herself in words and still needed to get nutrition through iVF.
Finally, the CDC says it is still investigating the source of mercury in its products, but it warns people not to use creams or lotions that may come from illegal sources.
