There is no doubt that Disney’s hit original series, “The Man of Man,” will be in its second season, but screenwriter and producer Jon Favreau made the announcement Friday afternoon, according tomedia BGR. “The Mandalorians” will return in the fall of 2020, and Favreau should be back in the production.
“The Man-Made Llandorus” debuted on November 12 with Disney’s new streaming service and was well received in the weeks leading up to the release of “Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker.” The mixed ratings for Star Wars 9 appear to have brought more attention to the Mandallo, as some fans pointed out that it was the right way to open the Star Wars episode, something that recent films have failed to do.
The first season of “The Man of Man” ends on December 27and, with episode VIII directed by Taika Waititi. It’s the only major original episode launched by Disney Plus, but it managed to capture the hearts of a large audience immediately (thanks in large part to the unforgettable “Baby Yoda”). But the success of the series certainly bodes well for the upcoming Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Marvel’s new drama Loki.
