According tomedia reports, “Wonder Woman” is about to return to theaters, I believe many fans have been unable to wait. According to a survey released Friday by the film website Fandango, the most anticipated film of 2020 is Wonder Woman 1984. Gail Gado (Wonder Woman) and Patty Jenkins (director) are the golden partners returning to the sequel.
In fact, for the first time in history, the four most anticipated films on Fandango’s list were written by female directors.
“As we move into the next decade, new films look promising, with inspiring stories and new definitions of the word ‘hero,'” Nikki Novak, a reporter for Fandango, said in a statement. “
Wonder Woman 1984 is expected to be released on June 5 next year – originally scheduled for release in December 2019, in an effort to avoid a head-on encounter with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
In addition to Wonder Woman 1984, the three most anticipated films are “Black Widow”, “Eternal Family” and “Flower Magnolia” directed by female directors Kate Soutland, Zhao Wei and Nikki Caro.
Other most anticipated films are reported to include the 25th Bond film, “007: No Time to Die,” “Silent Land 2,” “The Raptor Squad,” “The Highlands” and Pixar’s “Soul” and “Speed and Passion 9.”
Gador and Chris Pine in Wonder Woman 1984 are the most anticipated actors, while the opposite of the cheetah, Kristen Weg, is the most anticipated villain in the film.
