YouTube TV users are enjoying a new live guide to better meet user needs, media reported. According to YouTube, it has updated its guidance specifically based on feedback received from customers so they can better take advantage of the service’s cloud DVR capabilities. In addition to viewing what is currently playing, users can also view future content.
Top TV services such as YouTube TV are increasingly popular with consumers over the Internet rather than cable or satellite TV. This service has many advantages, such as immediate access without the need for cable or satellite TV boxes, contracts, or similar restrictions.
But that’s not to say it’s perfect, and many of its services aren’t as sophisticated as pay-TV. But in recent years, the company has been able to feel the adjustment and change of the flaw.
On Monday, local time, YouTube announced its latest improvement — its live guide can now show content for the next seven days– a change that is now being implemented on desktop clients. But given that there are relatively few people watching TV using a desktop browser, YouTube seems to be a bit disappointed.
YouTube said it was not yet clear whether the update would also be available on platforms other than desktop clients, and that it would obviously surprise many people if it did not make such a change.
