Audi TT, an entry-level sports car owned by Audi, has gained the favor of many female users with its rounded and lovely look. Unfortunately, this charming little sports car may not be replaced, and the TT will be replaced by the new electric sports car. In May, Audi officials said the brand would stop production of the TT, which will be replaced by a purely electric version and based on the VW MEB platform, as TT sales decline and Audi’s electrification continues to be implemented.
Recently, overseas media have exposed a rendering of a group of Audi TT pure electric versions of the car, which may be named “eTTron”.
From the picture, the new car is about the same as the fuel version. But the former adds more new energy elements. The front face LED lamp set shape is slender, the grille is supplemented with a corrugated structure, the sides are equipped with a wind guide, the lower selection of low wind resistance wheels.
It is reported that the Audi TT pure electric version will use a dual motor layout, and provide three battery capacity versions, respectively, 45, 58 and 78 kWh, range between 320-550km.
The end of the TT series is not the first, nor is it the last. Influenced by the market environment, more and more niche sports models are likely to disappear, or switch to new energy-driven. If you don’t want to regret it, hurry up and buy a sports car you love.
