The 2019 graphics battle is still dominated by NVIDIA, but 12nm is still old and it’s time to replace it. Analysts at Yuanda Securities say NVIDIA’s next-generation graphics card, codenamed Ampere, will deliver a 50 per cent performance boost at half the power consumption of Turing. By all accounts, Ampere’s performance is three times better than Turing’s, which seems incredible.
Reported that, in order to ensure the supply of point of view, Ampere will be TSMC and Samsung co-workers (TSMC mainly), may be 7nm EUV process.
In addition, Ampere will be treading on the two-year,1-year time point, is expected to be announced during this year’s SIGGRAPH conference, in August.
Finally, Analysts at Yuanda predicted that after Ampere’s launch, game graphics and games would have seen a wave of growth, with MSI, the biggest beneficiary, coming from the gaming business, with 60 per cent of the company’s revenue coming from the gaming business. Asus and Techno-Ka are also on the ups and downs, with more than 30 percent of their revenuecoming coming from games.
