With the release of the second-generation AirPods last year, Apple began offering users the option of carving custom patterns on charging cases, media reported. Today, the company announced a new option — the first time it has launched a custom-made service for airPods charging cases with larger text and expressions. “The new personal engraving option has come, from words to expressions,” Apple wrote in a banner on its official website.
Consumers can now choose from a custom headset box at Apple’s online marketplace through “Free Customization.”
It’s important to note, however, that people can’t choose the emoji they want at will, but only among the more than 30 options apple offers, including the most popular smiley faces, love, unicorns, ghosts, stargazers, aliens and poops.
It is reported that the free service is now available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and other countries market.
