Samsung S20 Series/Fold 2 Exposure: Full SnapDragon865, 100-megapixel/up to 100x zoom

Samsung will host the Unpacked launch on February 11, when Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Fold 2 will be unveiled during the event,media PA reported. The latter will be Samsung’s new collapsible product, expected to feature a horizontal shaft design similar to the Moto Razr 2019.

The Galaxy S20 series is expected to be available in three models, including the S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra.

The S20 will feature a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with a rear three-camera, 100-megapixel main lens, combined with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with a periscope design (supporting 5x optical zoom). The processor is the Exynos 990/SnapDragon865 (the latter is the main, 8GB of memory started, 128GB of storage, 4000mAh battery, pre-installed Android 10-based One UI 2.1.)

The S20 Plus is upgraded to a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a consistent processor, a rear upgrade to four cameras, and an added ToF lens to provide more accurate depth information for AR applications, as well as more natural depth-of-field capture. In addition, the S20 plus battery capacity is larger, up to 4500mmAh.

The S20 Ultra will be Samsung’s new top flagship, with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with an almost identical core of the S20 Plus, a telephoto lens, 50x hybrid zoom and 100x digital zoom, and a further 5,000mAh battery capacity.

As for the Galaxy Fold 2, it is reported that the machine will use a 6.7-inch display, support horizontal folding, reduce the size by half, the core specifications include SnapSnapdragon 865, 12GB of unsaved, 256GB storage, two batteries 1800mAh, up to 45W fast charging, support 5G network.
