Another patent application by Apple shows that the company is continuing its efforts to make a foldable iPhone, this time on the side and back of the phone, foreign media reported. The patent number 10,345,860 shows how Apple will present visual content in any part of a device, such as an iPhone or iPad.

The document describes an “electronic device that surrounds the display” and “contains at least a transparent shell and a curved screen.”
Unlike apple’s patents for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the folding display is about two or more overlapping screens.
Although Apple has never publicly said it will use folding or overlapping displays, it has been patenting these elements for years.
Recently, the company filed a patent covering how the device’s circuit boards are flexible. Late last year, it filed a patent for a device screen that can be folded in a variety of ways.
