Microsoft announced in July that it had added more than 102,000 square kilometers of bird’s-eye images to binge maps over the past few months, according to foreign media. Today, Microsoft announced that it has added another 50,000 square kilometers of new bird’s-eye images — covering 70 U.S. cities.
Bing Maps is one of the first to provide bird’s eye view of the map service. Microsoft also said it will release new high-resolution satellite and aerial images in the coming months.
