Facebook has been developing new designs for its site for quite some time, according tomedia msPoweruser. In April last year, Anthony De Rosa, product manager for The Daily Show, shared a screenshot of the new design shared online. With Facebook now inviting users to test the new design, the company appears to be about to release the final design.
The invitation appears to be random and does not follow any pattern. The new design does change the overall look of the site and is more modern than the existing Facebook design. The design also brings support for dark patterns. You can view some screenshots of the new update.
Unfortunately, Facebook hasn’t announced a specific launch date for the new design.
