Acer today announced two new business notebooks, including the MIL-STD-810G certified TravelMate P2 and P6 models with Intel Tenth Generation processors. P2 is relatively more mainstream, offering Wi-Fi 6 and 4G LTE connectivity options (entity nano-SIM or electronic eSIM card schemes), with official nominal battery life of 13 hours.

On the security side, as a business notebook, the TravelMate P2 comes with an infrared camera that supports Windows Hello, a privacy app supplemented by a webcam, and the Acer ProShield security suite.
As for the TravelMate P6, it features an aluminum-magnesium body that weighs 2.4 pounds (slightly more than 1 kg), is only 0.6 inches (1.5 CM) thick, is officially standard for up to 23 hours, and supports fast charging (45 minutes to 50 percent battery).
The TravelMate P6 is said to have been developed based on the Intel-led Project Athena Ultrabook 2.0 program, meaning it will support features such as instant wake-up, modern connectivity (Wi-Fi 6 and 4G LTE).

In addition to the 10 generation processors, two travelMate P-Series business notebooks offer dedicated graphics hardware, such as the P2 with the Nvidia GeForce MX230 and the P6 with the MX250 GPU.
Finally, The Acer TravelMate P2/ P6 will be available in North America in February, starting at $699.99 / 1149.99 (4880 / 8018 RMB). The Chinese market will be available in January, starting at 4499 / 9999 RMB, while the EMEA market will start at 599 / 1099 euros.
