In addition to the new ConceptD 7 Ezel notebook, Acer also launched the ConceptD 700 desktop at the CES 2020. It is known to be a workstation device for creators that requires high-performance support for video, animation, construction, engineering, or other tasks. Based on the Xeon E platform and nVIDIA Quadro GPU, the ConceptD 700 offers a number of professional features in mainstream Intel performance.
The ConceptD 700 desktop features a minimalist Scandinavian design that better integrates into a professional environment, with noise spikes of only 40dBA even in high-intensity heavy tasks. It features a white finish, a wood-like pattern on the top of the chassis, and a triangular front panel with three energy-saving cooling fans that draw air into the chassis. There is also a wireless charging point on the top of the chassis, as well as a headphone holder.
The ConceptD 700 desktop is available on-premises Intel Xeon E-2200 platform with a maximum selection of 8 cores, 64GB of DDR4-2666 ECC memory, multiple M.2 SSDs and other 2.5/ 3.5-inch storage. Quadro’s interior will be the RTX 4000, giving the device a demanding RTX Studio badge. The Acer ConceptD 700 will go on sale in Europe in March, starting at 1,700 euros. However, it is not clear how much detail sits on the base.
