TCL’s first folding phone release: 7.2 inch/quad cam

2019 is the year of folding-screen phones, with Samsung Galaxy Fold, Huawei Mate X and Motorola Razr. There is no doubt that folding screens may become the future development direction of mobile phone form. Entering 2020, folding-screen phones are expected to have an outbreak. On January 7th, TCL unveiled its first folding phone at CES. Tcl unveiled a prototype of the folding-screen phone at the MWC Mobile World Congress in February 2019. The screen measures 7.2 inches and is covered in plastic.

The rear of the machine has four cameras, the specific specifications are not known for the time being. The body is color-coloured with jade, and the back has a diamond-shaped texture pattern, which is highly recognizable.

According to media reports, TCL has considered more than a dozen folding possibilities, covering mobile phones, wearables, smart home and other products. The fold-out phone will go on sale this year, and the price is not yet known, and even the name has not been confirmed.
