With the growing demand for big-screen games, more and more manufacturers are introducing TV-sized BFGD competitive displays, and 37.5 inches is no longer unthinkable. During CES 2020, we saw another Elite XG550 display from ViewSonic. It is equipped with an OLED panel with a 55-inch, 3840-by-2160 resolution, with a gray scale response time of up to 0.5 ms, and a high refresh rate of 120Hz.

The OLED panel features a more pure black and extremely high contrast, and the Peak Brightness of the Elite XG550 may not necessarily be high, but it covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is expected to deliver a lifelike image display.
In terms of form, the Elite XG550 features an ultra-narrow bezel design, a very sharp base and rGB light bars on the back. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t disclosed which interfaces the display will provide, which HDR formats it will support, when it will go on sale, and the exact price.
Previously, Dell and Acer have introduced similar Alienware 55 and Predator CG55K models, respectively. Given that few manufacturers in the industry can produce 4K 120Hz OLED panels, The ViewSonic Elite XG550 is likely to share the same supplier as the former.
