One of the biggest highlights of the Pixel 4 series is the support for 3D face recognition, which, like the iPhone 11 series, does not have fingerprint recognition. The Pixel 4 Series integrates precision components such as an IR camera, dot matrix projector, and flood lighting modules with an irredraft camera( an IR camera, and flood lighting modules with a wide top border to unlock a 3D stereoscopic face.
However, this core feature has recently been dysfunctional. On January 10th, according to Android Authority, Google’s Pixel 4 face unlock was suddenly unavailable.
Many users have told Android Authority that google’s Pixel 4 is not working properly after receiving a security update in November. When the user tries to unlock, the user is prompted to “Can’t verify the face again.”
A user tries to restore factory settings, but does not fully resolve the issue, and there will still be a failure to unlock.
The exact cause of the problem is not yet known, and Google is expected to fix the bug in a follow-up software update. In addition, for the Pixel 4 series “closed-eye unlock” issues, Google will also provide software patch fixes, stay tuned.
