Bungie Studios has created the heroes of the game for us, and they have done many heroic things in reality, raising money to help hurricane victims, and donating money to help earthquake victims. Now Bungie is looking at the Australian wildfires. They designed a limited-edition T-shirt with the famous words “Star Light, Star Bright” from Destiny 2 on it, and are expected to go to the Bungie Mall between January 16 and February 18 to coincide with the start-up of the Destiny 2 game.
Half of the T-shirt sales will go to WIRES, Australia’s largest mountain fire rescue organisation. The other half will be donated to the NSW Fire Service, the front-line fire department in Nsw.
Bungie will announce more about the fundraiser in next week’s weekly report. While players have come up with ideas for the studio to sell skin, the skin from design to shelf needs to go through a longer development, testing, online and other aspects, and the rescue is urgent, so Bungie chose a more rapid way to raise money for commemorative T-shirts.
Many game publishers are contributing to the Australian Mountain Fire, hoping that gamers will be at risk and that the action of enthusiastic rescue will allow more people to see the cohesiveness and positive significance of the game.
