Beijing this year’s motor vehicle emission requirements re-upgrade will implement the national VI phase B standard

Today, Beijing Mayor Chen Jining gave a government work report and announced at the meeting that Beijing will fully implement the Six (B) emission standards this year. This is also the second time since the implementation of the Six (A) standard on July 1, 2019, the Beijing area has been upgraded to the national six (B) emission standards. It is reported that the country’s VI emission standards at the beginning of the formulation, started with the development of A, B two standards. At present, most of the implementation of the country VI emissions of the region use of national VI (A) emission standards. And why do the relevant departments should work out the two standards of national VI emissions?

Beijing this year's motor vehicle emission requirements re-upgrade will implement the six B standard

The main reason is that the national VI emission standard compared to the national V emissions, in the exhaust gas emissions of CO (carbon monoxide), HC and NOx (hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides), PM (particles, carbon smoke) and other harmful gas content significantly reduced, so the national VI emission standards are also called the most stringent emission standards.

And if a one-time upgrade from country V to national VI emissions, in such a short period of time to complete the technical upgrade, for many car companies have no small difficulty. In order to allow a certain buffer time for car companies, the relevant departments have developed the national six emissions A, B two standards.

The National Six (A) standard was implemented in most parts of the country on July 1, 2019, compared with the B standard, the A standard of various emissions content slightly higher, but compared to the country V emissions are significantly reduced. However, as time goes on, the nationwide implementation of the national six (B) standard is getting closer and closer, leaving less and less time for technology-poor car companies.

As early as last year, the implementation of the national six (A) standards at the beginning, there are many domestic car companies because they do not meet the emission standards of the engine, and there is no car to sell the embarrassing situation. Some modern models and Zhongtai are typical of them. Moreover, with the gradual implementation of the emission standards of the real six, which are more stringent, it is believed that many vehicle companies will still be under pressure because of the emission standards.
