Windows Search is a core part of Windows 10, which supports Task Manager and other applications to help users find files, pictures, or programs, according tomedia reports. The Search problem in Windows 10 is much more common than you might think. Microsoft recently offered a series of recommendations for users who want to address Windows Search’s inefficiencies.
Windows Troubleshooter is not necessarily the most effective way to fix a Windows Search problem. To help users solve Windows Search problems, Microsoft is developing a Microsoft Store application called Indexer Diagnostics.
According to Microsoft, this tool should help users or administrators resolve Windows Search-related issues and analyze search index ingress.
The app is still in beta and displays information about the Windows Search indexer. If Windows Search stops working, users can use the program to restart or reset the search service.
Currently, troubleshooting options only allow users to restart or reset the search service.
Microsoft has yet to officially release the Indexer Diagnostics app, but expects more details to be released later this year. For now, the application is already on the Microsoft Store.
