Porsche Flying Car Patent Exposure: Vertical Take-off and Landing, Two-Seat Layout

Porsche, which is known around the world for producing premium sports cars, is no longer content with “just making cars”. Recently, media reported that Porsche has filed a patent for electric aircraft to the U.S. Patent Office. Not long ago, Boeing, the Us. aircraft maker, said it was working with carmaker Porsche to develop a concept-electric flying car that could transport passengers in cities. The patent for the exposure could be a flying car that Porsche and Boeing are about to co-build.

From the patent edited exposure, the aircraft has vTOL (vertical take-off and landing) capability, four large propellers can give the aircraft the main force. Two of the propellers can be flipped down to provide thrust, allowing the vehicle to be like a fighter jet off the ground and to hold two people.

The patent also mentions that the aircraft will be powered by pure electric power, which can use multiple fans of different sizes instead of free-moving rotors to drive the aircraft.

In fact, in recent years, the major auto companies for the exploration of aircraft in the air has not stopped. Hyundai has partnered with Uber to launch air taxis, and Chinese brand Geely is also looking into the area.
