MediaTek announced a new processor product, the Helio G70, on its website. Specifications, the Helio G70 features an 8-core 64-bit design, 4 A75-core master frequency 2GHz plus 4 A55 small core main frequency 1.7GHz, memory support LPDDR4x, up to 8GB/1800MHz, storage support for eMMC5.1.
On the GPU side, the Helio G70 is equipped with the Arm Mali-G52 2EEMC2, GPU frequency 820MHz, and supports a maximum resolution of 2520×1080.
For cameras, the Helio G70 supports up to 48-megapixel cameras, or dual 16-megapixel cameras.
In addition, the Helio G70 is a 4G chip that supports Beidou, Galileo, Glonas and GPS positioning, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0.
As for the process, the official has not announced, but the guess should be the same as the G90T, still 12nm process.
The parameters of the Helio G70 are not luxurious and should be positioned under a thousand dollars, which may compete head-on with the SnapDragon 710. Sources say the Helio G70 could start with the Red Rice 9.
