According tomedia reports, the latest data from market analysis firm Sensor Tower shows that global consumers spent $61.7 billion on Android and iOS device Mobile Game in 2019, up 12.8 percent from $54.7 billion in 2018.

Global consumers spend $61.7 billion on Mobile game, accounting for 74% of total gaming industry spending in 2019. Since Mobile game represents the largest part of the gaming industry, this is good news for the entire gaming industry. Overall, games account for 68% of total iOS revenue and 84% of Android revenue.
Android and iOS devices also downloaded a number of games in 2019. Mobile game installed 42.1 billion times for the first time, up 9.9 percent from 2018.
Google App Store Google Play accounts for 78% of all game downloads, and the “Chicken” game, Garena Free Fire, is the most popular game on the platform. On iOS, Call of Duty is the most popular game in terms of revenue.
Sensor Tower also points out that the Mobile game industry is in a healthy state of competition. No game publisher has three places in the top 20 overall game downloads in the fourth quarter of 2019.
