Recently, China Electronics-owned Chengdu CLP Panda Display Technology Co., Ltd., the first 100-inch 8K GOA super-sized, ultra-high-resolution display panel based on metal oxide technology was successfully lit. Perhaps some students are unfamiliar with the GOA panel, GOA is a shorthand for Gate on Array, which can be simply interpreted as integrating the gate IC on glass without the need for additional drive ICs, which can be easily made into a narrow border or borderless display.
The figure above shows the difference between the normal panel and the GOA panel, which can be seen using the Gate line to connect to the IC, and the border line is very dense and takes up a lot of space.
And GOA panel directly using GOA device instead of dense Gate line, panel border is no longer restricted, is the future development direction of display panel technology.
As the world’s first fully self-designed and developed Ultra HD 8K GOA display panel based on IGZO technology, the successful lighting of this product also means that China in the future 8K Ultra-Qing generation can also occupy their place.
