As previously widely reported, the update, released Tuesday, fixes “high-risk critical security vulnerabilities” that affect Windows 10 and other versions. According to the report, vulnerabilities linked to encryption components were found in all versions of Windows. Hackers can use this vulnerability to disguise malicious programs as trusted applications.
This update also fixes Windows Kernel, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows Server, and other components. Unfortunately, Microsoft has yet to fix a number of file manager issues that have been complained about in Windows 10 V1909.
