Microsoft releases new version of Edge Dev for ARM64

Microsoft also released a new version of ARM64 in the Dev channel today, as it released new Edge download links for platforms such as Windows, macOS and Android. The new ARM64 version will replace the previous x32 version, but Microsoft says there is a known problem with the new version: video slots on some sites.

Native support for ARM64 is important for the new Edge, otherwise the x32 application will need to be run through the simulation layer, but this can affect the experience. Only the classic versionof Edge and Firefox currently offer support for the original ARM64 version, and Google has previously said it has ready a new version, but it has been delayed for some reason.
