For members of the Fast channel for the Windows Insider project, Microsoft today released an update to Windows 10 Build 19546. As with recent lying updates, Build 19546 essentially does not introduce new features and focuses on BUG fixes, back-office reliability, and stability tuning.
The most interesting thing about the Windows 10 Build 19546 update is the Graphic Mode in the Windows Calculator, which says the official version will be available this summer. A new Indexer Diagnostics app is also available that helps users identify problems with the Windows Search Indexer.
Introduce drawing mode in Windows Calculator
One or more equations can be mapped at the same time. Enter multiple equations so that you can compare diagrams with each other and see how the lines interact with each other. You can also customize line styles and graphics viewing windows to suit your needs.
Add equations with variables. If you enter an equation that contains secondary variables (for example, “y s mx s b”), you can easily manipulate these variables so that you can quickly see how changes in the equation affect your graph.
Analyze the chart. Use your mouse or keyboard to plot a graph to better understand the relationships between variables in your graphics equation. You can also analyze equations to help identify key graphical features, such as intercepts of x and y.
Microsoft is eager for users to submit feedback. Tell us what to see next through the Feedback Center under The App, Calculator, or select the Send Feedback button on the About page of the app.
Introducing the Indexer Diagnostics application
It is currently available in beta form through the Microsoft Store. The application is designed to help you improve your understanding of search capabilities and enhance troubleshooting capabilities and support for general Windows Search issues.
