What’s it like to work at CDPR? Although the statements vary, at least the work anniversary gift is pretty good. In a new post from CD Projekt Red developers, we see a rare anniversary award for some employees – this time with Cyberpunk 2077-themed guitars and leather jackets.
The news came from CDPR’s official LinkedIn page, where the company is celebrating some important milestones for the development team. As with the CDPR team’s usual style, these cool-to-pop gifts fit in with the theme of the game they’re currently developing, this time with Cyberpunk 2077.
The rewards seem to have something to do with music, like on Johnny Silverhand’s touring truck. Each guitar presents a completely different aesthetic design, and the guitar and the box show the time employees spend working in the company. Other prizes include retro futuristic leather jackets, which have also become one of the iconic props for Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 has recently dominated the news pages for a number of reasons, most notably the recently disclosed delay in the release of the release, which was postponed until September 2020. While many in the industry complain that this will lead to ‘excessive overtime’ and directly affect CDPR employees, many in the community say the delay is worth it. The delay may also affect multiplayer mode, which is currently planned for some time after 2021.
In any case, Cyberpunk 2077 is currently released on September 17, 2020, landing on ps4/Xbox One/PC/Google Stadia.
