On January 19th, the large thrust liquid hydrogen oxygen engine of the Long March V Y-4 rocket successfully completed the 100-second calibration test, which was the last test before the assembly, marking that the engine performance reached the predetermined requirements and will be transferred to the rocket assembly stage. After entering the Martian atmosphere, the lander conducts a soft landing with aerodynamic shape, parachute, engine, multi-stage deceleration, landing counter-flush, and then separates the rover (surveyer) and landing platform to carry out regional patrol exploration and related engineering practices.
The orbiter remains in Orbit, providing a relay communication link for the rover and conducting a orbiting scientific probe.
