Paris Museum releases more than 100,000 works in the public domain

The Paris Museum has published more than 100,000 works under CC0, including illustrations from earlier versions of Les Miserables. The Paris Museum is a public institution consisting of 14 museums in the city of Paris, including the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Balzac House, the Burdale Museum, the Cannavale Gallery, the Paris Catacombs and much more.

CC0 is a knowledge-sharing authorization that waives as many rights as possible and is legally feasible because some countries do not recognize the public domain, and CC0 is to fill that gap.
