For the little mates of the north, clearing the snow in winter is a real problem. However, compared with the residents of Newfoundland, Canada, this may be a small witch. After a severe snowstorm hit the area over the weekend, many residents woke up to find their roads covered in snow and their doors and vehicles buried overnight.
And some people’s Nest security cameras captured surreal footage of the storm:
Residents in large parts of Newfoundland are doing their best to clear the snow and restore roads so they can leave their homes at least when needed, but travel is still difficult. Local officials in cities like St. John’s are asking residents to avoid the roads as much as possible. Some petrol stations and pharmacies openonon on Sundays, providing residents with the most important necessities, but it will be some time before they fully return to normal.
