Beijing time on January 22, according tomedia, citing unnamed sources reported that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ mobile phone received information from Saudi Arabia’s crown prince after receiving hacker attacks. According tomedia reports, a digital forensic analysis report shows that data on Amazon’s CHIEF executive’s phone was stolen in 2018, starting with an infected video file sent to Bezos from Mohammed bin Salman’s personal account.
The report comes a year after Bezos’ 25-year marriage to his wife, Mackenzie, ended unexpectedly, but it is not known what data was stolen from his phone. The National Enquirer later reported on Bezos’s affair with former television anchor Lauren Sanchez.
In April last year, Mr Bezos’s security adviser, Gavin de Becker, accused Saudi Arabia of hacking into Mr Bezos’s phone before the tabloids exposed the scandal. Mr. Becker also said last year that the National Enquirer had a business relationship with Saudi Arabia.
De Becker and Amazon did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment. The Saudi Embassy could not be reached due to non-office hours. (Wind)
