Recently, GFK released a data report, showing that in November 2019, vivo in India’s offline market sales exceeded Samsung, won the first place! The data showed that vivo’s share of offline sales in India rose to 24.7 per cent in November, while Samsung’s share fell to 21.6 per cent from 24.7 per cent in October, surpassing Samsung as the first player in India’s offline sales.
In third place was Xiaomi, with 21.5 per cent, OPPO fourth with 16.3 per cent and fifth with Realme at 7 percent.
By contrast, Samsung’s market share in November 2018 was 35.8 percent, falling to 21.6 percent in a year, with the vast majority of lost shares being eaten up by domestic manufacturers.
However, Xiaomi is still the king of the Indian market, with XIAOMI’s market share as high as 30.4% in November 2019, with Samsung coming in second with 21.1% and Vivo third with 16.9% of the market, according to IDC.
