Call of Duty 16: Modern Warfare has recently seen a number of unconfirmed information leaks, one of which is more concerned about a loaded image that looks like it may have something to do with the long-running “battle royale” model. “Call of Duty 16: Modern Warfare”, released on October 24, 2019, is a remake of the original, complete with a single-person campaign, along with standard multiplayer mode and spec-ops co-op mode, but lacking the hottest battle royale mode of the day.
This leaked image shows a scene showing mountains in the distance, near by the docks, and in the middle of the city streets, houses, factories, railways, chimneys. Such a large map does not look like a common multiplayer mode, and the diversity of terrain, especially waterways, is likely to point to the battle royale mode.
Although the Call of Duty series is not known for its battle royale mode, the previous year’s Call of Duty 15: Black Ops 4 followed suit with the launch of “Blackout” battle royale Mode, which worked well and is still played today. So it should be only a matter of time before Call of Duty 16: Modern Warfare joins the battle royale Mode.
In fact, as early as the summer of 2019 there are rumors that “Call of Duty 16: Modern Warfare” will include a battle royale mode, but so far players have had to wait patiently.
The second season of Call of Duty 16: Modern Warfare has been postponed until February 11, for unknown reasons, and if the rumors and speculation are accurate, the long-awaited battle royale mode is expected to be on the line at the same time as the second season.
Call of Duty 16: Modern Warfare is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
