More than a year after the launch of the Indian market’s “flagship killer” Pocophone F1, local fans have been waiting for a successor to the cost-effective phone, and about a week later, what they want is finally coming. POCO India today released a public announcement of POCO X2 in India. While the forecast didn’t bring much detail, it revealed the biggest selling point: the ultra-high refresh rate.
According to the company’s Twitter post, POCO X2 will enter the market with a “very high refresh rate” and is believed to have a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone’s official website also offers posters about its specifications, such as using a SnapDragon processor and introducing a cooling system optimized for the game.
POCO India general manager C Manmohan recently revealed that the company plans to launch a successor to the Pocophone F1 by the end of the first quarter of 2020, before POCO X2 is a bellwether for its 2020 product line.
