AdDuplex has released a January 2020 report detailing the market share of different versions of Windows 10. By statistics, Windows 10 v1903 performs well and currently ranks first in the list of the most popular versions of Windows 10. The share of Windows 10 May 2019 Update (1903) is now 53.4%. While this is good news for Microsoft, it has fallen by about 3%.
This may be due to the official release of Windows 10 v1909, which now has a 15% market share. Microsoft is still releasing Windows 10 v1909 in stages, so adoption is slow.
Immediately following the May 2019 update is Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809), with a 22% share, down from 25% in October 2019. On the other hand, the share of Windows 10 April 2018 Update (1803) fell significantly, from 13.6% in October to 5.6%.
Surface Pro 4 was the top 17.4 percent of surface devices, followed by Surface Pro (2017) with 14.7 percent. Interestingly, Surface Go has a 14.5 percent adoption rate and is now close to the Pro (2017) and Pro 4. Surface Laptop 3 and Surface Pro 7 also accounted for a good 1.42% and 5.06%, respectively.
