After several warm-ups in recent days, colorOS’ official micro-blogging account announced today that it will hold the ColorOS 7 launch on November 20 at the Minsheng Art Museum in Beijing. The site has received invitations from OPPO, the theme of which is “Old prescriptions can’t be used for new diseases on November 20th”, and the accompanying invitation box includes eye masks, dominoes, game consoles, front-end tutorials and stopwatches.
As a major Android 10-based update, ColorOS 7 is believed to bring many bright spots. In fact, as one of the first devices to be fitted with Android Q (now known as Android 10), OPPO launched testing in May this year through a collaboration with Google and with the help of positive feedback from community users.
As well as determining the exact timing, ColorOS also gave a promotional poster that seemed to hint at upgrades to some of the new systems. From the items given in the figure, AE tutorial disc represents a more convenient video editing function, pillows represent a more easy-to-use UI, and game consoles represent a better gaming experience. The old prescriptions don’t get rid of new diseases, suggesting that the new system will also bring some new tricks.
