Apple TV-Apple tapped Netflix’s top engineers

According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple recently hired a top engineer from Netflix and plans to build a technology team for Apple TV Plus and other company services. The engineer Apple is looking at is Ruslan Meshenberg.

He helped build Netflix’s platform and created faster movie viewing services for users, and he was primarily responsible for the Netflix back-office architecture.

Meshenberg joined Apple, which is responsible for Internet-related services. Currently, michael Abbott, a former Twitter engineer who runs Apple’s Internet service, has been recruiting for Apple’s technology team recently. There are no major problems with Apple TV Plus, but hiring senior technicians such as Meshenberg can help Apple quickly respond to new customers and content.
