In the booth, Qualcomm showed a number of commercial5G terminals, including Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G, Nubian Mini 5G, One Plus 7 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno 5G, Vivo NEX 3 5G, vivo iIQOO Pro 5G, Xiaomi 9 Pro 5 G, ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G, ZTE MC801 5G CPE, and China Mobile’s pioneers X1, P1/P2 CPE, etc. Visitors can experience the speed of 5G connectivity on the spot with these smartphones.

It is understood that in January 2018, Qualcomm and a number of leading Chinese terminal manufacturers jointly released the “5G pilot plan”, hoping to accelerate the 5G terminal in China and the world’s commercial landing. Data show that as of July 2019, there are more than 150 terminal designs with Qualcomm 5G solutions worldwide.

In addition, Qualcomm is actively driving 5G applications in XR, including VR virtual reality and AR augmented reality. In September Qualcomm announced the Qualcomm XR Enterprise Program, which accelerates XR’s collaboration, innovation, and application in key vertical business estos by introducing its technology in related areas.

Qualcomm is also pushing for 5G to transform the automotive industry.
