It is understood that in January 2018, Qualcomm and a number of leading Chinese terminal manufacturers jointly released the “5G pilot plan”, hoping to accelerate the 5G terminal in China and the world’s commercial landing. Data show that as of July 2019, there are more than 150 terminal designs with Qualcomm 5G solutions worldwide.
In addition, Qualcomm is actively driving 5G applications in XR, including VR virtual reality and AR augmented reality.
