Netmarketshare, a data statistics agency, released january 2020 operating system and browser market share statistics, statistics show that The share of Windows 10 systems has increased significantly, while Chrome has declined slightly. The share of Windows 10 jumped 3.72% month-on-month, from 53.32% to 57.08%, thanks to Microsoft’s discontinuation of support for Windows 7.

The share of Windows 7, the second-largest operating system, also fell from 29.57 percent to 25.56 percent, while Windows 8.1, the third-largest operating system, edged up 0.07 percent to 3.38 percent, and macOS, the fourth-largest operating system, edged down to 3.12 percent.

Browsers share fell 1.13 per cent month-on-month to 66.93 per cent, firefox, the second-largest browser, fell from 8.27 per cent to 8.12 per cent, and Microsoft Edge and IE were in third place with a share of 7.02 per cent and 6.60 per cent, respectively.
