Your Phone App – EliminateScotos to Bluetooth Connections to Boost Phone Screen Features
Based on user feedback, Microsoft and Samsung work closely together to bring a smoother experience to all Windows 10 PCs. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 was the first device to introduce this feature in August. After receiving positive reviews, we recently enabled this feature on Samsung Galaxy Fold, S10, S10 Plus and S10e smartphones.
You’ll need to update supported Samsung devices with the latest software update that supports the Link to Windows feature. To continue to offer this experience to other smartphones, we are extending this support to Samsung Galaxy A30s, A50s and A90 smartphones, and we will continue to add additional devices in the coming months.
With the introduction of the new experience, we will remove the Bluetooth connectivity option with immediate effect. If you’re currently using Phone Screen via Bluetooth and your phone model doesn’t support The Link to Windows feature, the Phone Screen feature will automatically disappear in the Your Phone app. Microsoft recommends that you unpair your device by setting up Bluetooth on both your PC and Android phones to make sure you don’t get connected.
Phone Screen Requirements
Run Android 9.0 and later Android phones
Run The Windows 10 October Update and later PC
Android phones and PCs must be connected to the same network
Support for phones that use this feature:
Samsung Galaxy Fold
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 / Note 10 Plus
Samsung Galaxy S10 / S10 s / S10e
Samsung Galaxy A30s / A50s / A90
