Windows 10 v1903 Global User Search Feature Sudden BUG: With Solutions

On February 5th many Windows 10 users around the world reported a collective problem – the Windows 10 search feature failed. The search function refers specifically to the search button on the Windows 10 taskbar, in general, click on the button to search to get Bing search results (domestic is Baidu), Microsoft released last year in the Windows 10 update, the search function and voice assistant Cortana split, Search became a stand-alone feature.

The problem now is that no results will be returned after using the search, and the external media speculates that the cause of the problem is the Bing and Cortana integration, which can temporarily resolve the problem by disabling Bing and Cortana integration.

The specific workarounds are as follows:

Open Run or Press Windows -R

Enter “cmd”

Enter the following command

reg add HKCU,Software,”Windows/CurrentVersion/v BingSearchEnabled/tREG_DWORD /d 0 /f

reg add HKCU,Software, Microsoft, CurrentVersion/ Search /v CortanaConsent /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Restart Windows 10 PC

Only Windows 10 1903 users currently have this issue. Microsoft officials have not yet responded.
