Tesla Model Y received an official rating from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), confirming that it can travel 315 miles on a single charge, making it the most efficient SUV ever,media reported. Last week, Tesla announced that model Y was in production and said it would begin delivery in March.
In addition, the automaker said it had increased the range of the Model Y , which was increased from an original estimate of 280 miles to 315 miles under EPA standards.
It is reported that both the Long Range Dual Motor (Long Range Dual Electric) version and the Performance version are more supportive of this upgrade.

Model Y has an official efficiency rating of 121 MPGe (129 MPGe for urban roads and 112 MPGe for highways), making it the most efficient small SUV in the United States.
