CBS is preparing to develop a CSI episode to mark the 20th anniversary of the classic “Crime Scene Investigation” (CSI), according tomedia. The CSI story is said to have been set in Las Vegas, and CBS has been talking to William Peterson, who plays Grayson in Crime Scene Investigation, and Jorja Fox, who plays Sarah, for the new series. Or will call more original starring return.
The CSI series will be produced by Jason Tracey, the producer of Basic Interpretation.
“Crime Scene Investigation” premiered in October 2000 and was a hit, with an average of 25 million viewers per episode at its highest ratings. This was followed by three series, Crime Scene Investigation: New York and Crime Scene Investigation: Miami, as well as “Cyber Field Investigation.”
