Previously, the Deepin community had issued a Q.amp;A question-and-answer session explaining the relationship between UOS and Deepin OS. Simply put, UOS is a commercial distribution of Linux in China, with the main development effort being done by the Deepin team, and the relationship between UOS and Deepin is like Fedora and Redhat RHEL.
Deepin is a community version that will not be replaced by UOS, which is used only for commercial purposes. UOS is based on the Deepin system, so the Deepin system gets some feature updates earlier, and UOS updates are slower but will be fully commercially supported.
