The Bing team is always looking for ways to improve search engines. The team has now begun testing a new feature that may help users find more accurate search results. This new feature prompts users with additional questions to narrow or filter search results. For example, when we search for a “blue screen” on Bing, we ask for “the version of Windows you want to search for.” Similar problems have arisen in other search terms, helping users narrow their searches and get relevant information.
The feature isn’t really new, and a similar feature has been available on Google for some time. However, Bing’s features are more accurate than Google’s, and it’s better than Google in terms of filtering.
