Performance improvement of 13%: Edge v81 will open a whole new chapter in Microsoft’s browser

In a recent official blog post from Microsoft, the Dev and Canary channel, and the Chromium-based Version of the Microsoft Edge browser, have improved their browsing performance by up to 13 percent. This means not only better performance in professional testing, but also more intuitive improvements in the user’s actual experience.

In the blog post, Microsoft wrote

Starting with Microsoft Edge v81.0.389.0 for 64-bit Windows 10 systems, we’ve enabled a new tool chain optimization to significantly improve performance in our daily browsing workloads.
